Digi-Fizzy: Bridging Physical Fashion into Digital | Genesis Issuance with Charli Cohen

We are thrilled to collaborate with top London Fashion Anarchist and Designer, Charli Cohen, who is issuing the Genesis Digi-Fizzy ERC-1155 into our on-chain library. Charli will open source this digital pattern, where it can be leveraged by future designers into their master garments under fractional royalty distribution.

When DIGITALAX first officially launched late last year, December 2020, we introduced the concept of Fractional Garment Ownership— allowing independent artists and creators to issue digital materials, patterns and textures as ERC-1155 tokens. These were stamped and minted on-chain into the DIGITALAX on-chain digital libraries and open sourced.

The features of NFT technology allowed for these open sourced patterns, materials, textures to be transparently tracked on-chain through the entirety of the Digital Fashion supply chain process, from a modular and composable level.

This thus allowed for them to be leveraged by the DIGITALAX Global Designer Network in their master garments, where the master ERC-721 tokens owned a balance of the related ERC-1155 textures, materials, patterns.

We were able to transparently inject Open Source into Digital Fashion and also leverage new monetisation models, where the original pattern, material, texture issuers received a royalty distribution for their modular garment contribution.

Charli Cohen’s issued pattern will be used in both a special edition digital and physical garment. (Spot the DIGITALAX Logo 😆😉)

The digital garment, created by Kodomodachi, can be taken directly into the Among Us Sheriff Mod for the ESPA tournaments.

The physical garment is a limited edition Charli Cohen jacket. Buyers can purchase this digi-fizzy hybrid fashion through the DIGI Bundle— to be listed on the DIGITALAX Matic Marketplace for the ESPA launch.

The future of fashion, digital and physical, is open source, transparent and composable through the supply chain. NFTs enable this streamlined distribution.

As we launch ESPA and expand out our Digital Fashion Operating System we are also further scaling the threadline between the digital-physical realms. Our on-chain digital libraries sit at the core of these realms, acting as the transform bridge between the digi-fizzy.

DIGITALAX hybrid NFTs streamline monetisation, licensing and rarity definition between Digi-Fizzy.

Using the patterns, materials, textures as this threadline ensures that digital garments are not limited by their physical counterparts. Digital Fashion is not confined by physics, and therefore, “copying” a physical fashion item directly into its exact digital counterpart isn’t scalable. The modular material components ensure the interoperability.

More to come on the DIGI Bundle and how to receive the special edition digi-physical CC garments. Stay tuned!
